Fanatics Casino App Review 2026
Fanatics Casino is the real money online casino run by Fanatics Betting and Gaming, the same company behind the Fanatics sportsbook. It is live in four states: Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. If you have seen a list saying Fanatics is available in twenty-odd states, that list is wrong, and later on this page I explain exactly how that mistake happens.
The thing worth knowing before you sign up is FanCash. It is the rewards currency Fanatics puts at the centre of everything it sells, and the homepage calls it “real dollar-for-dollar” value. For casino players that is not what happens. Fanatics publishes the conversion in its own program terms and it is fifty cents on the dollar. That single number changes what this casino is worth to you, so I have given it a section of its own rather than burying it in a list of features.
Where you can actually play
Four states, and only four:
- Michigan, licensed through the Lac Vieux Desert Band of Lake Superior Chippewa
- New Jersey, licensed through Bally’s Atlantic City, with the operating entity FBG Enterprises Opco, LLC
- Pennsylvania, licensed through Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course and Hollywood Casino York, with the licence held by PointsBet Pennsylvania LLC
- West Virginia, with the licence held by PointsBet West Virginia LLC
The PointsBet names are not a mistake. Fanatics bought the US business of PointsBet and the original licensed companies still hold the paperwork in those two states.
Michigan lists Fanatics on the state’s authorized platform providers page. Pennsylvania lists it on the interactive gaming operators page. New Jersey lists casino.fanatics.com under Bally’s Atlantic City.
Why other sites say twenty-two states
Go to the Fanatics site and pick your state and you will see a lot of states labelled “Sports & Casino”, including Texas, Utah, Idaho and Hawaii. None of those states has a legal online casino of any kind. What that label actually covers is Fanatics Markets, a prediction market run by a separate company inside the group, registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission rather than with a gaming regulator. It is not a casino and you cannot play slots on it.
So if you are in one of those states and you have read somewhere that Fanatics Casino is available to you, it is not. The legal online casino states in this country are New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island, and Fanatics runs a casino in four of them. Our guide to which states allow casino apps covers the full picture.
The welcome offer
Fanatics runs two casino welcome offers and a new player picks one. They are never shown side by side, which makes them harder to compare than they should be.
Option one, the loss back credit
Play in your first 24 hours and Fanatics gives you back your net losses as Casino Credit, up to $1,000. The clock starts at sign up, not at your first spin. The credit expires seven days after it is issued.
- Maximum: $1,000 in most states
- Pennsylvania maximum: $500, half the headline figure
- Qualifying window: 24 hours from account creation
- Playthrough: the credit must be played through once
- Expiry: seven days from issue, 11:59pm ET
- Cash value: none. Casino Credit cannot be withdrawn. Winnings from it go to your cash balance
The Pennsylvania cap is worth pausing on. The Fanatics site shows $1,000 with no state split anywhere on it. The operator does not say so on the page a Pennsylvania player reads, which I think is poor.
Option two, the bonus spins
Wager $10 in cash within seven days of registering and you get 100 bonus spins a day for ten straight days. That is 1,000 spins in total, and the spins expire at 11:59pm ET each day, so missing a day loses that day’s hundred.
The eligible game changes from state to state and Fanatics says so itself rather than naming one game.
Which one to take
The spins cost you $10 and the loss back costs you whatever you lose. If you are opening an account to try the place out with a small balance, the spins are the lower risk of the two. If you are depositing several hundred dollars and playing it through in the first day anyway, the loss back is worth more. In Pennsylvania that calculation shifts, because your loss back stops at $500.
What FanCash is really worth
This is the part I would want explained to me before I opened an account.
How you earn it
FanCash accrues on your wagers at a rate Fanatics publishes in full:
- All slots: 0.25%
- Table games: 0.20% unless stated otherwise
- Blackjack: 0.05%
- Craps: 0.05%
- Baccarat: 0.05%
- Video poker: 0.05%
Publishing the earn rate at all puts Fanatics ahead of most of the market. Plenty of casinos will not tell you what their points are worth until you have already played.
The fifty percent conversion
Here is the line from the FanCash program terms, word for word: “If you choose to redeem your FanCash for Casino Credit, you will receive half (50%) of the FanCash value in Casino Credit (e.g., $1 in FanCash equals $.50 in Casino Credit).”
FanCash converts to sports bonus bets at one to one. It converts to Fanatics merchandise at face value. It converts to Casino Credit at half. The casino player gets the worst of the three rates, on the currency this casino is built around.
Put the two published numbers together and the picture is clear. Wager $1,000 on slots and you earn $2.50 in FanCash, which becomes $1.25 in Casino Credit, which then has to be played through once before anything from it can be withdrawn.
The automatic enrollment nobody mentions
From the program terms again: any casino account opened on or after 17 June 2026 is automatically entered into a promotion called FanCash Jackpots. While you are in it, the FanCash you earn on casino wagers goes into a prize pool instead of into your balance. It does not reach your account at all until you opt out, and anything already in the pool stays there.
You can opt out from the app home page. Whether the jackpot pool is a better deal than the FanCash is a judgement call, and you might decide it is. What I object to is that it is switched on for you and the only way to find out is to read the terms.
Games
Fanatics does not publish a game count. Its own marketing says “thousands of slots” and leaves it there. If a total matters to you, the lobby will show you what is there once you are in the state and logged in.
Fanatics does not publish a supplier list of its own.
The games Fanatics names itself are the more useful guide to what it is pushing:
- Fanatics Blackjack, an in-house table game
- A WWE WrestleMania slot, which the operator calls its biggest WWE game so far
- Triple Cash Eruption
- Huff N’ Puff, the Aristocrat title that turns up at most US casinos
- Hypernova Megaways
- 7s Fire Blitz Triple Fire
Live dealer gaming
Live dealer gaming is there and Fanatics gives it real space on its own site, with blackjack, roulette and baccarat named in the app description. Fanatics does not name the studio itself.
Banking
This is the weakest part of the whole operation. The methods themselves are fine. The problem is that you cannot find out what they are.
Fanatics publishes no payment method list anywhere a prospective player can read it. Not on the site, not in the state terms of service, not in the privacy policy. I read the Pennsylvania terms looking for the words Apple Pay, PayPal, Play+, PayNearMe, Venmo, Trustly, VIP Preferred, Skrill and Paysafe. Not one of them appears. The only payment language in the document is generic: banks, credit cards, third party electronic payment processors.
The help centre is inside the app. There is no web version. So you cannot read the banking rules until you have downloaded the app and registered an account, which is the wrong way round.
Deposit methods
- Apple Pay
- PayPal
- Venmo
- Online banking, ACH, with Trustly
- Debit card
- Wire transfer
- Paper check
- Google Pay on Android
- Cash at the cage
On credit cards I would go in expecting debit only. Play+ and PayNearMe appear to be absent, which is unusual for a US casino of this size. Our guide to Play+ casinos covers the apps that do offer it.
Withdrawal methods and timing
The timing is the one banking fact Fanatics does publish, and it is in the terms of service: “We generally expect withdrawals and refunds to be processed within twenty-four (24) hours, however they may take up to five (5) working days.”
That is an honest window rather than a marketing claim. The app also has a withdrawal tracker that shows you where your money is in the process, which is a feature I wish more casinos had.
The withdrawal methods themselves are not published.
Apple Pay
Apple Pay works for deposits.
It does not appear to work for withdrawals. So if you deposit with Apple Pay expecting your winnings back the same way, add a method you can actually be paid on before you win rather than after. I have compared which casinos pay out through Apple Pay across the whole market if that is the deciding factor for you.
Minimums
The minimum deposit is $10.
The minimum withdrawal is not published. Open the cashier and read your own screen.
Signing up and getting verified
Identity
Fanatics asks for a mailing address, date of birth and Social Security number at registration, and the sign up flow takes the last four digits of the SSN. The terms reserve the right to ask for documents at any time, including after the account is open, and withdrawals can be held while security checks run.
You must be 21 or older in all four states, a US citizen or legal resident with a US address, and you get one account per person.
Location
Geolocation is checked constantly through GPS, IP address and beacons. Turning location services off blocks access. Living in Michigan is not the test, standing in Michigan is. If you are near a state line this is where refusals happen to people who are perfectly entitled to play, and a VPN will not solve it. Using one risks the account and the balance in it.
The apps
The one you want
The casino app is called Fanatics Casino – Real Money. On iPhone the seller shows as FBG Enterprises Opco, LLC. On Google Play the developer shows as Fanatics Betting and Gaming. Both are correct, one is the legal entity and one is the trading name.
- iPhone: 4.8 stars from 33,000 ratings, 623.9 MB, needs iOS 17.0 or later
- Android: 4.6 stars from 15,300 reviews, over 100,000 downloads, updated 3 September 2026
- iPhone only. There is no iPad version
Ratings that high on both stores are rare in this market. Most casino apps score well on iPhone and badly on Android, and this one does not. That is a genuine point in its favour. It is worth more than any feature list.
Note that 623.9 MB is a large app. If your phone is short of space, that is a real consideration.
The ones to avoid
Search either store for Fanatics and you get a crowd. Five different things carry the name:
- Fanatics Sports & Casino. The sportsbook app, which also contains the casino. Same account, different download, 272,000 iPhone ratings against the casino app’s 33,000. This is the easiest one to install by mistake
- Fanatics Markets: Trade Sports. The prediction market. Not a casino
- Fanatics: Shop NFL, NBA & MLB. The merchandise store, sold by Fanatics, Inc. A different company from the one running the casino
- Fanatics NBA Shop and Fanatics NFL Shop. More merchandise
- Fanatics Live and Fanatics Collect. Trading cards
The check takes two seconds. The app you want says Casino – Real Money in the title, and the seller is FBG Enterprises Opco or Fanatics Betting and Gaming. If the seller says Fanatics, Inc, you are looking at the shop.
Customer support
Fanatics publishes a phone number, which not every casino app bothers to do. In all four states:
- Phone: 800-254-0320
- Email: support@betfanatics.com
- Chat: in the app
- Post: FBG Enterprises Opco, PO Box 551702, 4150 Belfort Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32216
The app description claims support around the clock.
The help centre being app only is the real weakness here. If your account is locked and you cannot get into the app, the written answers are behind the thing you cannot open.
Is it safe
Yes. Fanatics Betting and Gaming is a subsidiary of Fanatics Holdings, one of the largest sports companies in the country, and it bought the US business of PointsBet for a reported $225 million in 2024.
- Michigan names Fanatics on the state’s authorized platform providers list
- Pennsylvania names Fanatics on the interactive gaming operators list
- New Jersey lists casino.fanatics.com under Bally’s Atlantic City
- The games are tested before a regulator allows them into a licensed lobby
- Complaints have a regulator to go to if the operator will not settle them
A separate oddity, which is not a safety issue. Section 22 of the Pennsylvania terms of service is listed in the contents as “General Online Casino Terms” and has no text under it. The document runs from 21 to 23. A casino specific clause is missing from the published terms.
How it compares with the other apps I cover
- Against DraftKings: DraftKings covers five states to Fanatics’ four, publishes its full banking list, and pays out through PayPal and Venmo same day in most cases. Its Dynasty Rewards scheme also converts at a published rate rather than at half
- Against bet365: bet365 is in three states but publishes its deposit and withdrawal limits in a table on its own site. On banking transparency the two are not close
- Against BetMGM: BetMGM has the bigger library and publishes everything. It also holds withdrawals for an internal review of up to five business days, where Fanatics commits to 24 hours to five days including its checks
- Against Golden Nugget: Golden Nugget reaches four states including West Virginia, the same count as Fanatics
- Against Hard Rock Bet: Hard Rock is in two states and is equally quiet on banking detail. Fanatics reaches twice as many states
What I like
- 4.8 on iPhone and 4.6 on Android. Strong on both stores, which is uncommon and points to an app that works properly on Android rather than only on iPhone
- The FanCash earn rate is published in full, game type by game type. Most casinos will not tell you that at all
- A published withdrawal window in the terms, 24 hours to five working days, that includes the security checks rather than starting after them
- A withdrawal tracker in the app, so you can see where your money has got to
- A published phone number, which Borgata, Golden Nugget and Hard Rock all fail to provide
- Four states, including West Virginia, where the choice is thinner
- Genuine exclusives, including the WWE tie in and an in-house blackjack game
What I do not like
- FanCash converts to Casino Credit at fifty cents on the dollar, while the homepage sells it as dollar for dollar value. Sports players get one to one. Casino players get half
- New accounts are opted into FanCash Jackpots automatically, which diverts your casino FanCash away from your balance until you find the setting and turn it off
- The Pennsylvania welcome offer is $500, not the $1,000 on the page
- No payment methods, no minimums, no game count and no provider list are published anywhere you can read before signing up
- The help centre only exists inside the app
- The state selector mixes three different products, so it reads as though the casino is in twenty-two states when it is in four
- iPhone only, with no iPad app, and 623.9 MB to install
Who this casino suits
Fanatics suits you if you already have a Fanatics account for sports or merchandise and you want everything under one login, or if you are in West Virginia where there are fewer good options. The app itself is well built and the store ratings back that up rather than just my opinion.
I would look elsewhere if you want to know the rules before you hand over your Social Security number. A casino that will not publish its payment methods, its minimums or its game count, and keeps its help centre inside an app you have to install first, is asking for more trust than it gives back. If that matters to you, bet365 publishes all of it and my review explains what that looks like in practice.
I would also look elsewhere if loyalty value is what you are chasing. Half rate conversion on the casino side is the worst of the three redemption routes Fanatics offers. It is also the one that applies to you.
Frequently asked questions
The questions below come up most often about this app.
Which states is Fanatics Casino legal in?
Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Any longer list you see is the prediction market, which is a different product regulated by a different agency and is not a casino.
Is the $1,000 welcome offer real?
Yes, but it is a loss back rather than a deposit match, so you only get credit equal to what you actually lost in your first 24 hours. In Pennsylvania it caps at $500.
Can I withdraw to Apple Pay?
The evidence says no. Apple Pay works for deposits at Fanatics and does not appear in any withdrawal list. Add a second payout method when you open the account.
What is FanCash actually worth in the casino?
Fifty cents on the dollar. Fanatics publishes it: $1 in FanCash becomes $0.50 in Casino Credit, and that credit then has to be played through once. Sports bonus bets convert at one to one.
How long do withdrawals take?
Fanatics states 24 hours in most cases and up to five working days at the outside. That window includes its own security checks.
Is Fanatics Casino the same app as Fanatics Sportsbook?
No, they are two separate downloads on one account. The sportsbook app contains the casino as well, which is why so many people end up with the wrong one.
How many games does it have?
Fanatics does not publish a figure.
You must be 21 or older to play. If gambling is causing you a problem, call 1-800-GAMBLER. Our responsible gambling page lists the tools and the help available in each state.
