bet365 Casino App Review 2026
bet365 is one of the biggest gambling brands on earth, and in the United States its casino app is one of the smallest footprints in this review series. Three states. That is it.
If you live in one of those three, this is a serious app with the fastest published withdrawal times I have found anywhere in the US market. If you do not, nothing here is available to you yet, and no amount of good design changes that.
This review works through what bet365 publishes itself: the licences, the welcome offer terms, the banking tables, the app store listings. Where bet365 does not publish something, I say so rather than filling the gap with a number from a review site.
Where bet365 Casino is actually live
Real money casino, three states:
- New Jersey. Live and established.
- Pennsylvania. Live.
- Michigan. The newest of the three, approved in April 2026.
bet365 also runs a sportsbook. That is a separate product with a much wider reach, live in seventeen states, and people mix the two up constantly. Having the bet365 sportsbook in your state does not mean you can play the casino, and each has its own app store listing.
Both app store listings confirm the three casino states, which is the check worth doing before you spend any time on an account.
Who actually holds the licence in each state
This matters more than most players think. The name on the app is bet365. The entity regulated by your state is usually something else, and that is who your money sits with.
- New Jersey. Hillside (New Jersey) LLC, operating under Division of Gaming Enforcement transactional waiver 477-50.
- Pennsylvania. Hillside (Pennsylvania) LLC, PGCB licence 156260.
- Michigan. Approved by the Michigan Gaming Control Board on 17 April 2026. The platform provider is Hillside Michigan LLC trading as bet365, and the licensed operator is the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians, whose casino is Odawa Casino in Petoskey. bet365 took that slot over from PokerStars.
You can look all three up yourself. New Jersey publishes its licensee list through the DGE, Pennsylvania through the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, and Michigan through the Michigan Gaming Control Board. It takes two minutes and it is the single best habit you can build before depositing anywhere.
The welcome offer
bet365 runs a two part welcome for casino: a matched deposit and a large batch of spins.
- 100% matched deposit up to $1,000. Put in $200 and you get $200 in bonus funds. Put in $1,000 and you get $1,000.
- Up to 1,000 bonus spins alongside it.
- $10 minimum deposit to qualify.
- 30 days to claim from opening the account.
- The spins are not handed over in one lump. They release across ten separate days inside a twenty day window.
That spin release schedule is the part people miss. A thousand spins sounds like a weekend. It is not. It is a hundred spins a day for ten days, and if you stop logging in, you stop collecting them.
The playthrough, which is where the real cost sits
A matched deposit is not free money. It is money you have to turn over before it becomes yours, and bet365 sets that number differently by state.
- New Jersey: 30x. On a $200 bonus that is $6,000 of wagering.
- Pennsylvania: 25x. On the same $200 bonus, $5,000.
- Michigan: not published first party. Independent sources split between 15x and 30x, which is a wide enough gap that I am not going to pick one for you.
If you are in Michigan, open the cashier and read the offer terms on your own screen before you deposit. The difference between 15x and 30x on a $1,000 bonus is $15,000 of wagering, and that is not a rounding error.
What that wagering actually costs, worked through
Wagering requirements are the most misread number in online casino. It is not money you have to lose. It is money you have to stake, over and over, before the bonus balance turns into cash you can withdraw.
Take a $200 deposit in New Jersey at 30x:
- You deposit $200 and receive $200 in bonus funds.
- The requirement is 30 times the bonus, so $6,000 of wagering.
- At $1 a spin that is 6,000 spins. At $2 a spin, 3,000.
- Slots typically run 500 to 600 spins an hour on a phone. So you are looking at ten hours or so of continuous play at a dollar a spin.
The same $200 in Pennsylvania at 25x is $5,000 of wagering, which is a fifth less work for exactly the same bonus. That is a real difference between two states running the same app.
Now scale it. A $1,000 deposit taking the full match in New Jersey is $30,000 of wagering. That is not a weekend, and it is not a sensible target for a casual player. The honest read is that the top of a matched deposit offer is designed for people who were going to stake that much anyway.
None of that makes the offer bad. It makes it a volume offer. If you play a few hours a month, take a smaller deposit and clear it, rather than chasing the headline number because it is there.
The house edge does not pause while you clear it
Turning over $6,000 on slots running a typical 96% return means you would expect to give back around 4% of everything you stake along the way. On $6,000 of turnover that is roughly $240 of expected loss.
That is the part the headline never mentions. It is still worth taking a bonus. It is just the reason a $200 bonus does not put $200 in your pocket.
If you want to run these numbers for a different deposit, we built a casino bonus calculator that does the arithmetic for you.
What bet365 does not publish about the bonus
Two things I could not find anywhere in the open, and I looked properly:
- Game contribution rates. Almost every casino counts slots at 100% and table games at a fraction, often 10% or 20%, sometimes zero. bet365 does not publish its table anywhere I could reach.
- Maximum bet while a bonus is active. Most operators cap this, commonly at $5 or $10 a spin, and breaching it can void the bonus entirely.
Both of those are in the terms you accept when you claim the offer. Read that screen. If you are a blackjack or roulette player rather than a slots player, the contribution rate decides whether this offer is worth claiming at all.
I will also say plainly that bet365’s promotions pages would not load for me from outside the states they serve, so the offer detail above is corroborated across three independent sources rather than read off bet365’s own promotions page. It is consistent across all three, but that is the sourcing and you should know it.
The app itself
bet365 publishes a casino app and a sportsbook app separately. The casino one is called bet365 Casino – Real Money, and that is the listing you want.
- iOS. Published by Hillside Technology Limited. Rated 4.3 stars from around 5,300 ratings. 36.3 MB. Needs iOS 15 or later. Version 23.64.0, updated 2 July.
- Android. Rated 3.9 stars from roughly 1,380 reviews, with over 100,000 downloads. Last updated 25 June 2026.
The gap between 4.3 on iOS and 3.9 on Android is worth noticing but not worth panicking over. It is a common pattern across this whole sector, and the Android sample here is small enough that a few dozen unhappy reviews move the number a long way.
At 36.3 MB the iOS app is light. That matters more than it sounds if you are on an older phone with a full storage bar, because it is the difference between installing in seconds and having to delete photos first.
Getting it installed
- iPhone. Straight from the App Store. Search for bet365 Casino and check the developer reads Hillside Technology Limited before you tap get.
- Android. On Google Play, same check on the developer name.
- Location services. The app will ask for location permission and it is not optional. Online casino apps in the US are legally required to confirm you are physically inside a state where they hold a licence, every session.
That last one catches people out near state lines. If you live in a border town, expect the geolocation check to refuse you occasionally even when you are on the right side of it.
What to do when geolocation blocks you
The location check is the most common reason a US casino app refuses to let someone play, and it almost never means the account is the problem.
- You must be physically inside the state. Not a resident of it. Inside it, at that moment. A New Jersey account is no use to you in Delaware.
- Wi-Fi confuses it. A VPN will block you outright, and some business or hotel networks route through another state, which looks the same to the checker.
- Turn off the VPN, switch to mobile data, and try again. That single step fixes most refusals.
- Give the app precise location permission, not approximate. Approximate is not accurate enough near a border.
- Border towns will still fail sometimes. If you live within a few miles of a state line, expect the occasional refusal even when you are on the correct side of it.
None of this is specific to bet365. It applies to every licensed casino app in the country, and it is the price of the whole system being properly regulated rather than offshore.
Deposits
bet365 publishes its banking limits on its own help pages, which is more than several of its competitors do. Deposits:
Swipe the table sideways to see every column.
| Method | Minimum | Maximum | Speed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Debit card | $10 | $30,000 | Instant |
| Apple Pay | $10 | $30,000 | Instant |
| Online banking | $10 | $10,000 | Instant |
| PayPal | $30 | $10,000 | Instant |
| Venmo | $30 | $10,000 | Instant |
| PayNearMe | $10 | $500 | Cash, in store |
Two things matter here. The $30 floor on PayPal and Venmo is higher than the $10 on cards, so if you are a small stakes player those wallets are not your cheapest entry. And PayNearMe caps at $500, which makes it a top up method rather than a main one.
Cash deposits at the cage are also accepted, taken at Hard Rock Casino. bet365 does not publish minimum and maximum figures for that route because they are set in the venue, so it is not in the table above. It is a useful option if you would rather not put a card on file at all.
Withdrawals, and this is where bet365 wins
I have read a lot of US casino banking pages for this site. bet365’s published withdrawal timings are the fastest of any operator I have covered.
- Apple Pay: $10 to $30,000, marked instant. Not “up to 24 hours”. Instant, on their own table.
- Cash at the cage: $1 to $30,000, instant.
- Debit card: $10 to $30,000, quoted 1 to 4 hours.
- Bank transfer: $10 to $50,000, 1 to 4 hours. The highest ceiling of any method here.
- PayPal: $10 to $20,000, 1 to 4 hours.
- Venmo: $10 to $20,000, 1 to 4 hours.
An operator that publishes an instant Apple Pay payout and a four hour ceiling on everything else is making a commitment it can be held to. Plenty of its competitors publish nothing at all, or hide behind “3 to 5 business days” on every line.
The $1 minimum on cash withdrawals is unusual too. Most operators set a floor of $10 or $20 across the board.
The one condition to expect
Like almost every US operator, expect to withdraw back to a method you have deposited with. That is standard anti money laundering practice rather than a bet365 quirk, and it is why depositing with a method you cannot receive money on is a bad idea.
How bet365 compares on payouts with the other apps I cover
Withdrawal speed is the thing players complain about most and the thing operators are vaguest about. I went through the published banking pages of the major US casino apps for a separate piece on Apple Pay casinos, and the spread is wider than you would expect.
Taking Apple Pay as the comparison, because it is the fastest route almost everywhere it is offered:
- bet365. Instant, $10 to $30,000, paid back to the card you deposited with. The clearest published position of any operator here.
- BetMGM. Yes, from $20, but with a condition. An internal approval review of up to five business days runs before the payment method’s own timing even starts. So the method is fast and the process in front of it is not.
- DraftKings. Yes, with the most conditions attached. You have to have made a successful debit card deposit through Apple Pay first, you need iOS 16 or later, Safari is required on desktop and mobile web, and it is not permitted in every jurisdiction.
- Caesars Palace. No, and they say so plainly. Visa and Mastercard debit only, and Apple Cash is barred for real money gaming.
- BetRivers. Deposits yes, payouts unpublished. Apple Pay is listed as a deposit method and the withdrawal side is simply not addressed.
- FanDuel. Publishes the rule rather than the answer. You must deposit with a method before you can withdraw to it, and you can only have three payment methods attached to an account at once.
Read that list again and notice what bet365 is actually doing. It is the only one committing to a timing on the page, in writing, before you have an account. Everyone else either attaches conditions, stays quiet, or tells you the policy instead of the outcome.
That is worth more than a slightly bigger bonus, because you will withdraw many times and claim the welcome offer once.
The game library
bet365 publishes its casino library as “more than 1,000” games. Independent counts go higher than that, and they disagree with each other, so the published figure is the one I will quote and the only one bet365 stands behind.
A thousand games is a mid sized library by US standards. Some rivals list four thousand or more. In practice that gap matters far less than it reads, because nobody plays a thousand slots, and the top fifty titles are broadly the same everywhere.
What you get:
- Slots. The bulk of the library, including the mainstream titles most players arrive looking for.
- Table games. Blackjack, roulette and the usual variants in digital form.
- Live dealer. Covered below, and it is the strongest part of the offering.
- Jackpots. Present, though bet365 does not run its own branded progressive network the way some rivals do.
Live dealer
This is where bet365 spends its money, and it shows.
- Two suppliers, Evolution and Playtech. Between them they supply almost every serious live casino product in the regulated world.
- Dedicated bet365 studios in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Not a shared feed with twenty other brands on it, but tables built and branded for bet365 players.
- Around ten tables. Blackjack and roulette make up the core.
A dedicated studio is expensive and operators only build them where they intend to stay. If live dealer is the reason you play, this is a stronger argument for bet365 than anything in the welcome offer.
Promotions, and the Prize Matcher
bet365 runs rotating promotions rather than a fixed monthly calendar, plus one recurring feature worth knowing about.
- The Prize Matcher is free to play, daily. A match style game with prizes attached, no stake required.
- Rotating offers sit alongside it, changing through the year.
A free daily game is a small thing, but it is a real one, and it costs you nothing.
There is no loyalty scheme, and you should factor that in
bet365 does not run a tiered loyalty programme on its US casino. No points, no tiers, no comp dollars building up in the background.
Whether that matters depends entirely on how much you play.
- Casual player, a few sessions a month. You would never have climbed a loyalty scheme anyway, so you lose nothing.
- Regular player, meaningful volume. This is a real cost. Rivals return a percentage of your play through points, tiers and comps, and over a year that adds up to actual money. bet365 gives you rotating promotions instead, which is worth less and is harder to predict.
If you play often and you like the loyalty side of the hobby, this single point may outweigh the fast withdrawals.
One account, two different apps
- bet365 Casino – Real Money is slots, table games and live dealer. Three states.
- The bet365 sportsbook app is betting on sport. Seventeen states.
- Your account works on both. If you already bet on sport with bet365 in a state where the casino is also live, you do not need to sign up again.
- Downloading the wrong one is the most common reason people think the casino is unavailable when it is not.
Customer support
Live chat and a help centre, which is the standard shape across the US market. The help pages are unusually detailed on banking, which is where most support questions actually come from, and that cuts down how often you need to open a chat at all.
Responsible gambling
Every licensed US operator has to provide deposit limits, time limits, cooling off periods and self exclusion, and bet365 does. The tools sit in your account settings.
Worth knowing separately from the operator’s own tools:
- New Jersey. Self exclusion is run at state level through the DGE and applies across every licensed operator, not just the one you set it on.
- Pennsylvania. The PGCB runs the same kind of statewide scheme.
- Michigan. The MGCB operates a responsible gaming database on the same principle.
If you need to stop, the state level route is stronger than an operator level one, because it closes every door at once. In every state here, help is available on 1-800-GAMBLER, and our responsible gambling page lists the rest.
bet365 state by state
New Jersey
The most established of the three. The licence is held by Hillside (New Jersey) LLC under Division of Gaming Enforcement transactional waiver 477-50, and this is the state where bet365 runs one of its dedicated live dealer studios.
The trade off is the wagering requirement, which is 30x here, the highest of the three states that publish one. New Jersey also has the most crowded market in the country, so bet365 is competing against nearly thirty licensed operators. Our New Jersey casino apps page goes through the full list.
Pennsylvania
Licensed to Hillside (Pennsylvania) LLC under PGCB licence 156260, and home to the second dedicated live dealer studio.
Pennsylvania is the best of the three states to claim the welcome offer in, because the playthrough is 25x rather than 30x. Same bonus, a fifth less work. If you are choosing where to take the offer and you have a genuine option, that is the one. The full state picture is on our Pennsylvania casino apps page.
Michigan
The newest, approved by the Michigan Gaming Control Board on 17 April 2026. The structure is different here: the licensed operator is the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians, whose casino is Odawa Casino in Petoskey, with Hillside Michigan LLC as the platform provider. bet365 took that slot over from PokerStars.
Michigan is also the state with the open question. The wagering requirement is not published first party and independent sources split between 15x and 30x. On a $1,000 bonus that is the difference between $15,000 and $30,000 of turnover, so read the terms on your own cashier screen before you deposit rather than trusting any number you find online, including mine. Our Michigan casino apps page covers every operator in the state.
If you are not in one of these three, the states where casino apps are legal page will tell you what you can actually use.
What to check in the cashier before you deposit
Five things, and all five are on your own screen once the account is open and before any money moves.
- The wagering multiple. Especially in Michigan, where bet365 does not publish it openly.
- Game contribution rates. If table games count at 10% or not at all, and table games are what you play, the offer is worth far less to you than the headline suggests.
- Maximum bet while a bonus is live. Going over it can void the whole bonus, and the cap is often as low as $5 a spin.
- Which methods you can withdraw to. Deposit with something you can also be paid back on, or you will be moving money twice.
- The bonus expiry. You have 30 days to claim the welcome offer, and the spins release across ten days inside twenty.
That is five minutes of reading that decides whether the next month of play is worth it.
Strengths and weaknesses
Where bet365 is strong:
- Published withdrawal timings, and they are the fastest here. Instant on Apple Pay, 1 to 4 hours on everything else.
- Dedicated live dealer studios in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, supplied by Evolution and Playtech.
- Banking pages that answer the question before you open an account, with real limits attached.
- Low entry. $10 to deposit, and a $1 floor on cash withdrawals.
- A free daily game in the Prize Matcher, which costs you nothing to play.
Where it is weak:
- Three states. The smallest casino footprint of any major brand in this series.
- No loyalty scheme at all. Regular players get nothing back in points or tiers.
- A mid sized library at a published figure of more than 1,000 games, where rivals list several thousand.
- Michigan bonus terms are not published first party, so you cannot compare the offer properly from outside.
- Game contribution rates and maximum bet during a bonus are not published anywhere open.
Who bet365 Casino suits
- Anyone who cares about how fast money comes back. An instant Apple Pay payout and a published four hour ceiling on everything else is the best withdrawal position I have found in this market.
- Live dealer players. Dedicated studios in two states, supplied by Evolution and Playtech.
- Players who want banking answers before they sign up. bet365 publishes real limits and real timings rather than making you open an account to find out.
- Anyone starting small. A $10 minimum deposit and a $1 cash withdrawal floor are friendly numbers.
I would look elsewhere if
- You want a loyalty scheme. There is not one. If points and tiers are part of why you play, this is the wrong app.
- You want the biggest library in the state. A thousand games is respectable, not category leading.
- You are in Michigan and the bonus terms decide it for you. The playthrough is not published first party and the sources disagree, so you cannot compare it properly until you are looking at the cashier.
- You are outside New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan. Then it is not a choice at all yet.

My verdict
bet365 has built a small casino app and a good one. It publishes exactly how fast it pays, and it commits to instant on Apple Pay. Very few US operators will do that in writing.
The live dealer side is the other reason to take it seriously. Dedicated studios in two states, supplied by Evolution and Playtech, is a level of investment that operators only make where they plan to stay.
The cost of that is reach and rewards. Three states, no loyalty scheme, a mid sized library, and a Michigan bonus term that bet365 does not publish. If you play a lot and you value points, a rival will pay you more over a year.
If you value getting your money back the same hour, nothing else in these three states currently matches it.
